Who: Consultants at McKinsey & Company during the 1970s.

Why: Helps entrepreneurs ensure all parts of their business are working together effectively, increasing overall performance potential.

When: During major changes, when growth seems stalled, or if internal misalignment is suspected.

How:

      1. Rate your business honestly on each of the 7 Ss.
      2. Look for gaps or conflicts between elements.
      3. Develop adjustments to improve alignment and boost efficiency.
