Make Curiosity a Habit, Not a Chore
We get excited about a new idea, then fizzle out. Building curiosity into your routine is how it becomes a true advantage.
We wait for inspiration to strike, instead of proactively cultivating a curious mindset.
- Wonder walks: Get outside, no phone, just observe. What sparks a question, a business idea, a shift in perspective?
- Play!: Things that bring you childlike joy open up your mind, which is prime for entrepreneurial thinking.
- 5 WHYs: For any problem, keep asking ‘why?’ to get to the deeper root cause, which unlocks better solutions.
- Opposite day: What if you did everything backward in your business? Not to actually do, but to break rigid thinking.
- Feedback loop: After any launch, project, etc., don’t just move on. Get curious about what could be even better next time.
- Travel (even virtually): New cultures, systems, etc., show you there’s more than one right way to do things.
What’s the most mundane task you do? How could you inject a bit of curiosity into it?
