I struggled to find work-life balance. There was no life, actually.

Olá, I’m NoLifeNomad, a digital nomad based in Lisbon, Portugal. Running an online business gave me the freedom to work from anywhere, but it also blurred the lines between work and life. I was working around the clock, neglecting my health, relationships, and hobbies.

How I Reclaimed My Life:

  • Set boundaries: I established clear working hours, designated a separate workspace, and turned off notifications during non-work hours.
  • Scheduled breaks and vacations: I prioritized rest and relaxation, scheduling regular breaks throughout the day and taking vacations to recharge.
  • Delegated and outsourced tasks: I hired virtual assistants and freelancers to handle routine tasks, freeing up my time for more important activities.
  • Prioritized self-care: I made time for exercise, healthy eating, and activities that brought me joy.
  • Cultivated hobbies and interests: I reconnected with old hobbies and explored new interests outside of work.

Work-life balance is not a myth but a conscious choice. By setting boundaries, prioritizing self-care, and delegating tasks, you can create a more fulfilling and sustainable lifestyle. Remember, your business should enhance your life, not consume it.
