Persuade Yourself First
If YOU don’t believe in what you’re doing, good luck convincing anyone else to!
Imposter syndrome, pricing guilt, etc. make you less persuasive because that doubt leaks out.
- Know your value: What unique solution do you, specifically, provide that no one else can?
- Celebrate past wins: Keep a folder of client praise, nice emails, etc. to review when you feel wobbly.
- Ditch ‘should’ pricing: Base rates on the transformation you create, not what others charge.
- Reframe negative feedback: Use it to improve, not to confirm your worst fears about yourself.
- Your vibe attracts your tribe: Be authentically YOU, the right fit clients will be drawn in.
- Walk away when needed: Saying “no” to bad-fit clients strengthens your belief in good-fit clients.
What’s one small way you can boost your confidence about your offering today?
Look in the mirror and give yourself a specific, work-related compliment. Feels weird, but do it!
