What you’re not saying often speaks louder than your words. Are you sending the right signals?

We focus on our pitch, our offer, etc., and miss how our body language is impacting the interaction.

  • Build trust through mirroring: Subtly mimicking their posture, energy level, etc., builds subconscious rapport.
  • Eye contact matters: Too little is shifty, too much is creepy. Find the balance that makes people feel seen.
  • Energy is contagious: If you’re bored or anxious, they’ll pick up on it, even if you’re flawlessly delivering your script.
  • Spot the tells: Crossed arms, fidgeting, etc., signal disinterest or discomfort. Adjust your approach accordingly.
  • Decode your own signals: How’s your posture, facial expression…would YOU trust yourself on first impression?
  • Video is your friend: Record yourself practicing pitches to analyze your non-verbals, it’s eye-opening!
