What: A chart mapping project tasks against team members, assigning roles like Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed (or similar variations).

Who: Origins in project management, with different versions depending on the acronym used.

Why: Clarifies who’s doing what for entrepreneurs, avoids dropped balls, and speeds up execution.

When: Any project with multiple contributors, even if informal. Helps even simple projects run more smoothly.

How:

1. 1. List tasks down the left, team members across the top.
   2. Assign one (and only one!) person as Accountable per task.
