Who: Origins are a bit unclear, but it’s a practical framework used by consultants and strategic planners.
Why: Gets entrepreneurs out of their bubble by highlighting both internal strengths to leverage and external forces to adapt to.
When: Strategic planning, major new initiatives, market entry analysis.
